Question
My question concerns my continual changes of state, specifically
states of confusion. On the one hand, I am a computer engineer (well, still
finishing my degree :P). I learn mathematical formulas and use reasoning
constantly and conscientiously. On the other hand, there is the part of me that… perhaps wants to forget
all of this because it is a “burden.” So neither side,
intuition or reason, is comfortable with the other. Perhaps everything depends on finding
the right moments and knowing when the time is best for each one… Yet
the state of balance does not lie there either… So tell me, where
is it?
Another kind of “chaos” is the craving for power and knowledge of
the world, a thirst for “magical powers” that make me special compared with others. This
creates a state of confusion and anxiety. Yet it is hard to realize
that we are in that state, because believing everything that empowers the ego can be very intoxicating
for the mind. Do you know this state? And
if so, is there a “limit”?
