Question

If I have understood correctly—please correct me if not—when I do something, my mind should be completely in that thing. My question is: to what “level” should I go?

For example, when I wash the dishes, my left hand picks up a plate and my right hand takes the sponge, then I move them simultaneously in a coordinated way, the sponge in one direction and then the other, on the front of the plate and then the back, and so on. All this takes only a few seconds, and my movements are almost automatic.
If I want to be fully in my action, should I simply think that I am washing the dishes, or should I try to be aware of each hand’s movement, which is very difficult?
If it is neither of these, what is it?

Thank you for your help.

If you wash the dishes, that is already pretty good.
