Summer, holidays ... we often wait for this time to "recover strength". Regain strength? Return to the source, return to the roots.

Sitting in zazen day after day, for one, two, or several weeks, leaving all worries, simply following the life of the Zen temple, guided by the sounds - the sound of the bell to wake us up, the sound of the wood to go to the dojo, the sound of metal when it is time to eat, the sound of the drum for helping in community chores, and receiving the transmitted teachings in the dojo ...

We have this opportunity!  Simply sitting, body, breath and spirit in unity, calmly observing every thought, every object of the mind without discriminating, without identifying or rejecting, ceasing all external or internal struggle, we are offered the opportunity to truly return to the source, to the source of our own spirit, and discover the highest freedom intrinsic to ourselves, inner freedom.

The summer camp is about to begin: you can register for one session or several sessions of your choice. Of course, to facilitate the organization, it is better to do it as soon as possible.

Have you never participated in a summer camp before? Watch these videos at the Yujo Nyusanji temple. Further questions, or any doubts? Write to contact@zen-deshimaru.com.

Permanent team

The permanent members are participants who hold three or four sessions and actively participate in the organization and operation of the summer camp. They enjoy a differential rate.

If you want to join the permanent team: these are the last days to send your request to permanent@zen-deshimaru.com or by post to: Dojo Zen 34, rue Bourrely 34000 Montpellier.

Samu: summer camp preparation

Everyone who wishes to go to the temple to practice Samu in the days leading up to the summer camp, a month, some weeks, a week or some days can apply directly to Ingrid Gyuji.

In this period there is a lot of samu to do: cleaning, maintenance of garden and vegetable garden, and completing the preparation of the temple to receive the rest of the participants for the summer camp.
