I have always read and heard that zazen cannot be explained but must be
practiced. Yet you give many explanations. Why?

The zazen you do depends enormously on your knowledge of the true nature of yourself and all things. Zazen is a pure marvel, it is true, but it also depends on the state of mind in which you practice it.
