Question
I am currently working with a psychotherapist, but not in the sense we understand today… far from Freud. He received Buddhist teaching, and I first contacted him when I was having severe anxiety attacks. That is very hard to live with, especially because I love life so much! It really is wonderful, and the more I say so, the more I feel it within me, so powerful and soothing. It brings me great joy, especially after a difficult time!
Anyway, I am writing to tell you that even if I had a reason to doubt you, I would never doubt life! Never, ever! The first time it took me in its arms and comforted me, I was twelve. I have doubted sometimes, but now I feel, I know, that it will never leave me again.
My actual question is: where can I meet people like me, people with a real desire to live “beyond” a life of consumption and material gratification? Or rather, how can I meet them?
Thank you for your answer.

Start from the premise that everyone is like you; you need to know how to discover them.
Even a caged bird still knows how to fly. Open their door.
