Master Deshimaru's encounters

Question

The inner search is the path we must follow in this life and in others. Masters and initiates, whether from India, China, Japan, or ancient Greece, are all examples to follow. And yet the universal law is one of harmony!
- Inner life is only a transcending of oneself, so the work must be done alone.
- After working to get his head above water, a person who has achieved self-mastery needs nothing, not even others. Why? Because he himself is the Way, the light, and he already lives in the kingdom of love.
A little memory! In 1969, after arriving in France, Master Deshimaru was invited to the Bonfin summer camp in Saint-Raphaël by Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov. After this experience, Sensei Deshimaru’s books and poetry reflected a changed understanding of universal love. We still have photos in certain books showing Master Aïvanhov and Sensei Deshimaru together…

Answer from Master Kosen

Yes, indeed, Master Deshimaru met many great masters, including Master Aïvanhov, and great Indian masters such as Master Shivanadha, Master Satchitanadha, and others whose names I have forgotten, as well as Tibetan masters such as Kalu Rinpoche. He was also very friendly with the Karmapa. They certainly helped him in invisible ways, even if inner life is only a transcending of oneself and the work must be done alone.
