What is true inner freedom?
And even if I am completely free within, dwelling on nothing,
how can I liberate what and those around me? For even though Shakyamuni
taught the way of liberation, how many human beings today
are truly free within?

In fact, we are fundamentally free, and nothing can truly imprison us, not even death itself.
People are so free that they can even afford the luxury of playing at believing they aren’t. If they enjoy being slaves, they are free, aren’t they?
