Question

The way you answer Sabine makes me want to puke.

She is a human being, so she has a mouth, not a trap.

Besides, why did you create an electronic mondo, and why do you
hold mondos, if people are supposed to keep their mouths shut?

One more thing: you tell another woman, a victim of her ex-husband’s
violence, never again to accept violence from anyone, without compromise
or any excuse. What have you just
done with Sabine? She humbly offers you her experience as a gift.
Did you thank her???? No! Because she humbly opens her mouth
to describe this encounter, which starts a wonderful mondo among several
people and also lets you give us a great kusen in response,
what do you do in return? You give her a massive kick
in the stomach… Shut up, Sabine, shut your trap and get lost!!!!! I
say thank you to her. Thank you, Sabine; your questions and your
experience helped me a great deal.

Have the courage to put what I say on your site, not keep it secret.

Answer from Master Kosen

Sorry if you cannot understand, but in any case, this is between Sabine and me.
There comes a time when you must stop talking and indulging in your emotions and intellect. The master signals it once; you must stop immediately. Otherwise he brings out the kyosaku: he has to strike your ego, and you have to understand with your body. Since I cannot use the kyosaku over the internet, I have to use strong and sometimes shocking words so that people wake up. If we keep indulging in good feelings and diplomacy, everything remains superficial and we can never get to the heart of things. That is why it is called a mondo; it is not a complacent intellectual debate where everyone congratulates themselves on having understood in an artificial way.
Nor is it the karmic violence I spoke about earlier with that woman.
The kyosaku is Zen’s true compassion, allowing us to go beyond.
