People tell me about karma, the evil eye...

Question

It all began in July with carrot juice spilling in my suitcase and on the train I was taking. A Muslim friend told me great misfortunes are sometimes preceded by signs like that.

Then my laptop broke, which means a lot to me: contact with family and friends, addresses, music, job hunting…

A few days later, a friend stabbed me. He will spend the rest of his life on medication.

In the hospital, I learned my bank card had been stolen; the mailbox containing it had had no lock for a while.
At that same hospital, I caught scabies, which I have not managed to get rid of—two and a half months of scabies so far.

This morning, very sick. Just gastroenteritis, but causing tremendous pain.

People tell me about karma, the evil eye… I am someone who helps anyone I find in need whenever I can; that is what brings me happiness. My Muslim friend says that because I am beautiful, I may have accidentally attracted the evil eye, since in her religion the human soul is more dangerous than the Devil.

I do not know much about religions. Despite all this, despite the suffering these misfortunes cause, I am still holding on. I have learned to put things in perspective, and I have resilience within me. But if only I could avoid these misfortunes. I am not afraid; I wait for the next one to strike, without knowing when or how. I have become jaded.

But do I need salt?? A hand of Fatima?? Money?? Everyone contradicts everyone else, and I, well… have no idea. I continue to be a “kind” person; others are not to blame. I thought about my apartment, feng shui… Instead, I fight. I fight the misfortunes that have already struck, since the ones to come are unknown—perhaps just as well?
Thank you for reading this very long message. I do not want to give up, but I would like help.

Have a good evening.

Your message is long, but not boring at all. You write well, and I enjoyed reading it and had a good laugh. Perhaps writing is one of your callings. Telling your misfortunes in a way that makes others smile is a great talent, especially if you are not doing it entirely intentionally.

Besides, we have all been through these dark periods when everything collapses around us, when in fact we want everything to collapse.
Lies, compromises, the lack of true love, enslavement, stress, fear, uncertainty. We want to sit down right there, where we are now, even in the street, and cry, saying with a mouth full of tears: my heart is not made to suffer and struggle endlessly, but to love and give thanks for the wonderful life we are given.

We want everything to collapse so true humanity, fellowship, simplicity, and tolerance can finally reappear in our streets and daily lives. But since we do not know how to change this vast, complex world, we destroy what holds our own lives together through our own power. If we manage to overcome the ordeals we have inflicted on ourselves, we emerge greater, wiser, and stronger.

You must realize the strength of your own spiritual power, capable of causing so much damage in your life. But to my mind, this is a method to use sparingly.
I want you to understand that with this same power, you can create your life ideally. Even if building your future also requires undoing or transforming things from the past, they will transform harmoniously if you know how.
First, summon love in your heart while breathing gently. One function of the heart as an organ is to emanate love. When love is there and you feel it in your heart, speak your deepest wish aloud very slowly, word by word, visualizing each word written before your closed eyes. Look closely at these words for as long as possible; keep them before your eyes so the god you are has plenty of time to see them, and keep love in your heart as well. Then gently breathe your love onto the words you see so they fly away toward your future. There you have it: your destiny will change.
With all my love and admiration for who you are.
