Consciousness and ego are two different things.
Ego is illusory; consciousness is awakening.
The internet is a database of information.
Information generates consciousness.
The ego is purely constructed; in that sense, it does not fundamentally exist.
So the human being is without ego, and a machine can perfectly well have one if we program it.
