Question
Hello,
During zazen, I sometimes no longer hear sounds (birds, cars...) as if they were outside. In fact, the boundary between 'me' and 'the world' becomes blurred. It does not bother me, but it intrigues me.
Is this makyo? Just an auditory illusion?
Thank you very much! Have a lovely winter.
Gassho,

Answer from Master Kosen
It is an experience of awakening, a very positive one. However, my master would have told you: "Pass, pass, pass; let all considerations pass."
