Do you honestly think we can love someone we have never seen?
Not necessarily over the internet, but love someone because of what people say about him or her! And when I say love, I mean truly love!

We can love anything, even an empty sardine can. We can love it. The problem, in this age of materialistic, selfish ignorance, is that you think the subjective and the objective have nothing to do with each other. On top of that, you cling to the objective and become dependent on it; you think you can find love outside yourself, like an object to acquire. Such widespread ignorance and such a loveless civilization are pitiful. So it is in the very lack itself that you will find the solution. Precisely where you have placed your lack lies a fabulous store of love. That store belongs to you, and through it you can love everything and everyone.
