Question

Stéphane, dear Master Kosen,

These days I am practicing a little in an "AZI-compatible" dojo, in a spirit of sharing.

Last time, it was indirectly pointed out to me that my hand position at the end of kinhin,
when we walk back to our seats, was inappropriate:
I should have kept the kinhin mudra, simply tilting my hands down 90 degrees.

Yet I remember very well that you yourself explained this to us during last summer's camp.
As I remember it, you recommended placing the hands flat over the solar plexus, the right hand
covering the left as in zazen, with the thumbs touching just above the hands.

So I am asking one last time, because I want to be sure I understood what you said.
I will manage the rest.

Infinite gratitude.

Frédéric

Answer from Master Kosen

Simply tilt the hands so that they lie flat, one on top of the other, against the stomach, the right hand over the left.

Kosen
