Among the three poisons of the mind—greed/desire, hatred/anger, and ignorance—I don’t understand the meaning of the third, “ignorance.” Could you please enlighten me so I can move forward?

To be ignorant means not to know, not to be aware.
You know that provision of the civil code that says ignorance of the law is no excuse. Even in the civil code, ignorance is a poison.
