If we wish to be ordained as a monk or bodhisattva

Question

I have a purely technical question. If we wish to be ordained as a monk or bodhisattva in the sangha and have already taken bodhisattva vows in another lineage—in this case, the Mahamudra tradition of Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism—is there any incompatibility, or are these vows recognized by the sangha?

Answer from Master Kosen

If you meet the conditions for receiving ordination in my sangha, there is no problem.
