I do not understand children with disabilities

Master Kosen – Published on April 1 – karma

Question

Sometimes I meet people with mental or physical disabilities; with them, I can understand.
But what I find very difficult to understand and grasp is children who have these problems.
What is their karma? Some children are even particularly aggressive. I would like to understand.

Answer from Master Kosen

Yes, it is their karma! In Buddhist philosophy, it is said that karma exists before birth, that we were born into this world, onto this earth, to improve it, to resolve it, and even to go beyond all karma.
