I am overwhelmed by anxiety

Question

For many years I have been overwhelmed by anxieties and fears that seriously hamper my daily life. I cannot empty myself inside. Existential questions haunt me even though I truly feel I lack nothing except, of course, serenity. I think these anxieties are inherited—my mother has always suffered from anxiety and fear. I feel them as part of my nature, I do not accept them, and I fight every day to get rid of them. I will skip over all the therapies and psychotherapies that did nothing for me. What do you advise? Thank you already for listening and for your kindness. Best wishes.

Master Kosen’s answer

Let this anxiety overwhelm you to the very dregs. Then you will see that it is your own creation, your own thought, and that what creates it is something within you that is invulnerable and completely serene. At that moment, smile—you’re on camera.
