I am deeply influenced by Chogyam Trungpa's vision and work

Question

I am deeply influenced by Chogyam Trungpa’s vision and work (one of the
first Tibetan masters to try to establish the Dharma in the West).
I don’t know whether you are familiar with him…
He thought that for the Dharma to have a chance of taking root in the West, it had to be presented in its most ultimate vision (that is, Maha Ati in the
Tibetan tradition, which I think corresponds to something like awakening
”once and for all”).
He also thought that the “innermost” part of Zen was an Ati vision (he was
friends with Shunryu Suzuki).
I am not trying to engage in comparative advertising, but from your point of
view, were there similar intuitions among Zen masters who had to
confront the West, particularly Master Deshimaru?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best wishes,

P.S. I am a beginner, but I had the opportunity to do zazen once with your
sangha this year (at the Lyon sesshin).
