Question
Good and evil do not exist. How can we tell what is good or bad?

Answer from Master Kosen
Hello, Andres.
Thank you for your question, but enough confusion. Good and evil
both exist. The thing is that they have no substance of their own because
they are products of multiple causes that come together in the moment. To
illustrate this, Master Keizan said: “When a
mountain collapses onto a village, who is the agent? It is a mushotoku
action. When the wind carries a flower onto the Buddha’s altar, that too is
a mushotoku action.” My master used to say, “Bad becomes good.” “Good becomes
bad.” (Do you speak English???)
Best regards.
