Question

Hello, Kosen,

I was diagnosed with schizophrenia four years ago. I take medication, and now my blood pressure is too high, but I met a Zen master a year ago, and since then I have meditated and felt much better. Do you think I could stop taking medication thanks to meditation? It started when, after much reading and without guidance, I joined an esoteric school (which I stopped attending because they did not face the problem and sent me to a psychologist). I felt kundalini rise, and to this day I feel I am not alone in my bed, especially at night when I sleep. An invisible friend-lover keeps me company. Can you recommend a way of meditating suited to my situation? Or something I can do?
Thank you in advance,
Natalia, 30, Argentina.

Answer from Master Kosen

Keep your medication close at hand. If you feel well, you can reduce it or even stop, and as soon as you feel the symptoms returning, you have it nearby and can control your madness.
