Don't you think the sutras should be translated into the disciples' language?

Question

Regarding the Hannya Shingyo, don’t you think it should be translated
into the languages of Zen disciples so they can understand and
”penetrate” it better? Without wanting to make dubious comparisons, the Second
Vatican Council allowed the Mass ceremony to be adapted to each language, and
that was undoubtedly a positive development… Don’t you think the same
should be done with the Hannya Shingyo???

Answer from Master Kosen

Master Deshimaru wrote a book explaining the Hannya Shingyo. I am currently commenting on it myself during my sesshins.

A translation of the Hannya Shingyo is available on the website: http://www.zen-deshimaru.com/FR/practice/sutras/hannyashingyo.htm
