Intuition seems to know everything is here; the intellect recoils from the revolution. Afraid of what?

Master Kosen’s answer

A certain part of the brain is not designed to conceive what it does not know.
That is the neocortex. The middle and deep brain can create or perceive previously unknown realities, but have difficulty making them conscious.
Just as with a computer, there is a bug if we do not use it correctly. If we try to force part of the brain to perform a function it is not designed for, unpleasant effects will follow.
Why do you think we practice meditation?
It has been scientifically proven that zazen brings the different parts of the brain into phase.
That is the secret.
Human beings are extraordinary biological machines, but without knowing their brain’s operating instructions, they get little out of it. As a result, they cannot even manage their reality or live in peace and harmony.
