A dilemma of conscience

Question

Hello, Master,

I have a real dilemma of conscience. I live alone with my 17-year-old daughter,
who loves traveling. To make her happy, since she has lost her dad,
I always go with her, but we end up having to fly, and I
am getting more and more anxious, to the point where it is all I can think about,
three months before departure!

What do you advise?

Thank you for your answer. Have a good day.

Answer from Master Kosen

Flying is not the only way to travel. I too have to leave for Argentina in two days, and I hate flying—not so much because I am afraid, but because of all those cops and customs officers and that paranoia, and because it pollutes like hell. A ten-hour flight causes as much pollution as the average French person’s consumption over a year. So we contribute heavily to global warming and all that shit. If you do not have an important reason, other than tanning your ass, isn’t it better not to fly? There are a thousand ways to travel and a billion things to see, even just in France. Say, do you know the city of Troy?
