I recently began practicing zazen at an AZI dojo in Brussels, but you (although I have never met you) are my inspiration and light in my daily practice through your writings, videos, and music. You are a real breath of fresh air amid all this conformity. Thank you! I also wanted to know whether you have plans to open a dojo in Belgium someday, “once”? Or could you recommend a dojo in Belgium?

I have often gone to lead sesshins in Belgium, more than “once.” I love Belgium, since my grandmother was Flemish, goddammit! This year I will lead one in the North Sea on an island in Holland. That’s cool too, the low country.
