Perfection is only a limit within the process of development.
Virginity is a priceless treasure to offer to someone who deserves it and loves you for who you are, not because you match his fantasy. The knight must pass the trials to deserve you and thereby prove his sincerity. It is not love that causes suffering, but rather the lack of love. Loving yourself and valuing yourself as a worthy descendant of the prophet is the hardest thing, but it is the foundation: to be loved, you must love yourself.
