Question
Why can’t everyone practice zazen, while some people can? Why is it difficult to explain the merits of zazen to them? Is the nature of original mind really the same for everyone? Don’t some people have a mind
more unlimited than others?

Answer from Master Kosen
My master urged us not to look at others.
Only one person needs to do zazen: you. And that is enough to save everyone.
If you meet someone with the same calling, you can help them.
Even explaining zazen’s merits to yourself would be difficult.
It is precisely because the nature of original mind is the same for everyone that your zazen alone matters and is enough to save everyone.
Everyone has the same unlimited mind, but not everyone is aware of it.
