Question

Dear Master Kosen,
Why can we remember the past but not the future? Put another way, what is the nature of time?
Thank you very much in advance.

Master Kosen’s answer

“Time,” says Master Dogen, “is being.” Time therefore exists only through the chronological impression of what you have lived.
