What should I do?

Question

Good evening, Master. I offer you my respects. Since childhood, I have done many things, good and bad, but how can we know what is good or bad? I always find different concepts. I have been rebellious, undisciplined, stubborn. I underwent military training in my country, COLOMBIA, and worked in companies with colleagues and bosses whose moral compass was so crooked I don’t understand how they found their way home. Currently, I volunteer at an honorable humanitarian organization, where I unfortunately also encounter people who are corrupt in one way or another. In this institution, if someone speaks up, they take action against them. The leaders of the branch to which many of us belong do not like us and instead show a desire to put an end to volunteering. The volunteers are so upset by this situation that they say nothing and show their disagreement by not returning. I have held certain responsibilities in this volunteer work for a year and have found no solution. Sometimes, when I speak and/or make a suggestion, they silence me or mock me. About a month ago, I gave up my position, but they paid no attention. I would like not to lose the feeling that led me to join this organization, but the attitudes and actions of several people in high positions, and some not so high, bother me. What for me is an activity and work helping others that fulfills me as a person is turning into something terrible. Thank you.

Answer from Master Kosen

The whole world is corrupt, and the higher you go, the more rotten, sick, corrupt, and dangerous it becomes, beyond what we can even imagine. What matters for you is that your state of mind be pure and upright, and that you know what your heart longs for. There are also angels of light, rest assured. Have confidence in yourself.
