Question
What is the difference between the Great Vehicle and the Small Vehicle? In
his book “Dogen’s Zen,” Master Deshimaru “distinguishes Dogen’s religion
from Buddhism and religions in general”… Why does he distinguish
it from Buddhism?

The Great Vehicle is universal; the Small Vehicle is individual. Both are necessary.
