Question
What ignorance did the Buddha speak of? Is there knowledge to acquire, something to become aware of, to free ourselves from suffering? Personally, I think it is more about realizing, with our whole being and without thought intervening, something beyond words. Am I mistaken?

Ignorance is not wanting to make the effort to keep learning every day. Wanting to know what ignorance is already means beginning to leave it behind.
