Question
To the question “Is our destiny already entirely written?” you
answered me, “The future is written at every instant.”
My question is: What is an instant?
Thank you, Master.

Imperceptibility is also a physical reality. In film, our conscious mind can perceive only twenty-four images per second; we are not conscious of the twenty-fifth, which is called the subliminal image.
Our conscious mind is like a succession of points that gives us an impression of linear continuity. But time, like everything else, has the nature of emptiness and, as Einstein says, is relative: it can expand or contract. Between points of consciousness are points of unconsciousness. Where is our consciousness during those fractions of a second?
