Question

Hello, Master Kosen,

Thank you for taking the time to answer my previous question.
I spoke about vibrations, and you answered with a link about hyperreality and people firmly believing in it, although it is only an image projected on a screen.
An illusion of the senses, then...
So vibrations would be illusions,
and should therefore be disregarded...

Your master told you not to explore other disciplines before reaching the depths of Zen.
My inner master tells me not to explore Zen before taking my own path.
Then, if I feel like it, I will explore Zen, tai chi, Tibetan Buddhism, even Druidism—why not?
I will probably enjoy doing all that,
unless I do not go; we will see...

Well, I will continue researching these vibrations, which I assure you are not illusions, and I strongly doubt the brain is the only thing involved.

I will keep you informed.
See you in a few years, then...

Answer from Master Kosen

The vibratory phenomenon you describe seems related to uncontrolled kundalini movement. When we are young, sexual energy is strong, and we meditate regularly, this kind of vibration can occur. Breathe calmly, focus your attention on the crown of your head, and gently let the energy rise up the spine until it floods your brain.
