Understanding reincarnation

Master Kosen – Published on June 12 – death

Question

Do you have the same understanding of reincarnation as Tibetan Buddhism?
That of a subtle consciousness without identity, passing from one existence to another, and passing through the bardo…?

Or the view that ultimately, what reincarnates is karma… Thus each being is actually a reflection of life, another “self,” subject to other conditions, other destinies… (Early Buddhism.)
