Question
To someone who told me creation could only be material—manufacturing—I replied that creation has no limits or boundaries, that through thought and prayer we also create.
This person seemed to oppose the rational and irrational and regard the latter as inaccessible to humanity, therefore something to banish from thought.
I replied that the rational and irrational are two aspects of the same idea and are not opposed: through knowledge, yesterday’s irrational takes on meaning today and joins the rational, for example. Perhaps the arguments
I offered were not right. Was my reasoning mistaken? Please enlighten me.

Indeed, it is impossible to conceive of any technology or object without first dreaming or imagining it.
You are very clear. Some people think things have been what they are for all eternity. They are not only materialistic but passive and dependent. Everything has been created, and everything remains to be created.
