The creation of the world

Question

Given that we do not believe in God, as a Zen Buddhist who is confused, I would like to know how you think the world came into being.
I do not believe in God, but this question keeps coming up in conversation.

Master Kosen’s answer

The universe came into being through the phenomenon of the Big Bang: the appearance of everything out of nothing. The energy released by that primordial event gradually cooled, forming, beyond strings, elementary particles of matter such as electrons and quarks, then atoms. Atoms then joined into molecules that make up stars and planets as well as the different forms of life.

If you do not believe in God, at least remember your elementary physics classes.
