Question
I am a consecrated laywoman in the Christian faith. For some time I have felt a physical need to learn to settle better for meditation, deepen my approach, and be sincere, and I feel this physically. I have read accounts from Christian brothers for whom there is no conflict between being Christian and practicing Zen. Nevertheless, I would like your opinion. For my part, I see no inner struggle between the two; rather, they enrich each other.
Thank you in advance for your enlightened answer. Lise.

I appreciate neither those who call themselves Christians nor those who call themselves Buddhists. Giving your power to a church distances you from your true divinity, and therefore from the true God.
But perhaps you do not wish to meet God at all, only to talk about him, or at best believe in him from a respectable distance.
