Question

And play every role? Boxing coach, prostitute, stupid, intelligent, gaki, liar, more rotten than the rottenest, nun, atheist, diplomat, saint, madman, angel, demon, etc.?
In doing so, can he become nothing but a complete channel—that is, a complete instrument of… let us call it… God?
Thank you, thank you very much.

Answer from Master Kosen

He can play roles, but the root of what he is remains pure. He must play beautiful roles and not let illusion corrupt him by allowing himself to become imprisoned in degrading roles. It is like a cop infiltrating a terrorist network; we often see that kind of scenario in movies. In the end, he must not become bad himself.
