We are possessed by the archetype of the Self. It pushes us, and it is hard to understand its intentions, to understand that it is not us within us. God wants to learn the Dharma. We have been chosen for that. This God within us is as stubborn as a mule! They say that before Jesus Christ, God did not forgive. I am going to teach him to leave me the hell alone; I am going to teach him about humanity.

Teaching him to leave us the hell alone, teaching him about humanity: we all did that long ago. There is nothing original about it. Plenty of original sin, though. “That is sinning,” so forgive yourself; go and sin no more.
