The historical Buddha spoke of past lives and reincarnation.
As far as I know, Zen speaks little of them, emphasizing here and now.
But the more I practice zazen, the more this question arises for me, because I increasingly feel I have already experienced this sitting in zazen in many lives before. From your experience of zazen, what is your teaching on past lives and therefore on
reincarnation?
