My true nature

Question

When you say, “I feel from my center,” I understand: from
my true nature. Is that right?

Because I followed the teaching of a Zen master who said that ultimately
there is no center.

From my true nature would therefore no longer mean from a dream self,
since the ego is illusory.

Thank you.

Answer from Master Kosen

The ego has no noumenon, and true nature has no ego, so it is without suffering and eternal. It’s simple; it’s not reserved for an elite. Everything, absolutely everything, is thought; thought creates external reality. Simply return to the center and silence. Nature appears naturally, automatically, along with the joy of being free of everything and the possibility of creating everything. Isn’t life beautiful?
