My problem with hypochondria

Question

I am seeking your advice because I cannot resolve my hypochondria. It manifests as a great deal of fear, anxiety, and mental confusion. I am very afraid of illnesses; one replaces another. It is a recurring problem for me. I try my best to resolve it through meditation, relaxation, mantras… but it always returns with greater or lesser intensity depending on circumstances. Another detail that may help: I was raised by my grandparents, and my grandfather had cancer, which could itself be a cause. But I feel the karmic cause is older. I am aware this hinders my development. Based on your intuition, could you suggest what steps to take to overcome it?

Thank you in advance.

Master Kosen’s answer

Stop taking inventory of what is not working well in you. Instead, take inventory of your positive qualities and your happiness in being alive, and do it in writing every day.
