Keeping my eyes open without blinking

Question

Hello,
During zazen I find it difficult to keep my eyes open without blinking. My eyes sting, and I have to blink. Unfortunately, I cannot cut off my eyelids like Daruma (Bodhidharma) :-) Is it harmful or normal to move the eyelids to moisten the eyes? How do you do it?
Thank you again for your site, a mine of information…
Best wishes, Master Kosen.

Answer from Master Kosen

It is not about staring at a point, but an inward gaze without any tension.
