Question
Hello, Master Bárbara.
My question:
If it is bad to judge others, then it is good to judge ourselves, but to what
extent? Even when we do not want to, we are always judging our
fellow human beings. Sometimes we even dare to judge the universe itself, whether to
marvel at it or to ask why things are this way. So is it wrong to judge
ourselves? Where is the balance in this matter?
Many thanks.

When you practice zazen, one of the first fundamentals you discover is that the ego has no real existence; it is constantly changing. So what or who is going to judge? Things and thoughts arise and vanish. Here and now, nothing remains to be judged.
Cordially,
