Is being a Zen master easy or difficult?

Every profession, if I may call it that, has its difficulties and advantages.
I have a longtime friend who is a roofer in Paris. We call him Cricri, or Christian Haruis, known as “ma gueule.” He is a master, the best of all, and when he talks about “his work,” it can go on for hours and is always fascinating. There is a whole universe on the rooftops of Paris that we have never imagined.
