I am pleased to write this message to ask about the comparison between Zen and Islam. I have long wanted to practice Zen but have not found a master to learn from.

There is no Zen, Islam, Christianity, or Buddhism. Truth is the same for everyone, whether we like it or not. These kinds of complications were created by human beings. They created sects, religions, and churches to manipulate people and dominate them through fear and guilt.
But if we speak of the soul of Zen and the soul of Islam, they are exactly the same, because God is one, he is everything, and from that standpoint none of them can be distinguished from the others.
