Question
Hello, good evening. I always wonder what mental technique I should apply during practice so thoughts pass without my paying attention to them. It is something I have never managed to do: observe my own thoughts without judging them as good or bad. I can't detach myself from them; I identify with everything that appears in my mind, and it is completely automatic. Many things appear that I find repellent, and I can't avoid feeling bad. I have even wondered whether zazen practice might be contraindicated for my kind of mind, which has many involuntary bad thoughts. My mind is a constant war of thoughts, and I don't know the technique for calming it. If you could give me some advice about what I am telling you, I would be very happy. Thank you.

Concentrate on your posture or your breathing, and don't judge thoughts as good or bad.
