Question
Hello, Master! I am Juan. I need help. I cannot bring myself to ask anyone else. I am going through a very difficult time in my life. I have been abusing drugs for far too long, but I cannot moderate my use. The only balance in my life comes from meditation (Master Dashira Narada's teaching). I do not tell anyone about my problems. I keep everything to myself. That is why I have written to you several times. Because I do not know what to do. I need your advice. Thank you very much for listening, Master!
A big hug, and thank you for your answer!!!
Juan

Nothing is entirely good or bad. What you need to control is the addiction. Your enemy is only within you, and it robs you of your freedom. Do not let your freedom be stolen, especially by yourself.
The method is radical: tell it all to go to hell for a good long while. To control it is to stop.
Use your intelligence to understand that you must turn situations around: bad becomes good, and good becomes bad.
Medicine becomes poison, and vice versa. When you stop taking drugs, you feel completely wrecked, so appreciate that if you love unusual states.
Later, you can turn your addiction toward something positive. Even if it takes a great effort at first, afterward you will not be able to give it up.
Work, sports, and meditation teach us to create our own drugs: adrenaline, melatonin, serotonin, endorphins, and so many others. This is called alchemy. It is much subtler, but reserved for those who can earn it. Be wary of anything that gives you pleasure at first and enslaves you afterward. The pleasure becomes less and less apparent, and the enslavement harsher and harsher. In alchemy, effort comes before pleasure; then the effort becomes less and less significant, and the pleasure greater and greater.
This is what parents should teach their children.
Good luck. Spaniards are strong and proud. Act like a true Spaniard. Come on, man.
