Question
Since I am unable to feel well in every place and circumstance, do you think it is better to stay in an uncomfortable and therefore unpleasant situation, but use it to investigate what bothers us so as to defuse the source of this unease? Effective, no doubt, but I feel we could spend our whole lives doing that, and there will always be something! Not very exciting!!!
Or should we try to choose happiness by escaping unpleasant situations, thus keeping our “ghosts” and merely dodging them? Not very Zen!
Obviously, the idea of feeling well in an unpleasant situation no longer seems possible to me. Too improbable…
Do you have a solution?

Obviously, it is preferable to avoid unpleasant situations. On the other hand, we can very well feel happy in an unpleasant situation if we have deliberately chosen to be there to accomplish something specific.
