Does meditation lead to euphoria comparable to psychosis?

Question

I am surprised you have not answered my last question, Master. It
seemed meaningful to me. I will repeat it in case I wasn’t
clear: How can we distinguish the more luminous state meditation
leads us to from delusion? Does meditation also lead to
euphoria comparable to psychosis?

Please forgive me; I did not understand the meaning of your silence.

Thank you for your answer, for inventing electronic mondo, and
again for this website.

Answer from Master Kosen

Zen is the normal condition, but what is normal?
It is not about standards of normality instilled by society, but those felt deep within oneself, such as calm, joy, and full awareness. Psychosis is neither calm nor joyful. Sometimes it makes us very aware, but this is a confused, highly agitated consciousness that swings between plus and minus.
