Question
Although I was “sharp” in the remarks in my recent
questions, I think you are right about your problems with the AZI.
Zen cannot be guaranteed by an association, much less made dogmatic or
sectarian. I too will burn incense for your late master Deshimaru,
although I belong to no Zen association. I also wanted to
thank you for your website, which lets everyone encounter
Zen democratically. Thank you too for keeping all your questions
online; they already teach us much about Zen without leaving
home. In fact, you are a virtual master. All the best with your work; there is no comparable site among the AZI’s or others’…
But do not let this make you forget my question: do tai chi and Zen
share the same essence? I would like to practice it…
Thank you.
